Interactive 3D/2D animation

New steps towards digital interactivity or better yet, the interaction with the virtual.
The technology tends to move toward the elimination of devices suitable to interact with the hardware devices that control.
An example of a virtual interactivity we can testing in the video of this post, dedicated to "Live2D."

Live2D, developed by Cybernoids, is the world's first drawing technology to enable 3D rendering of 2D images. This technology supports a variety of portable consoles and smartphones, and Live2D is already being utilized for games that take advantage of the unique characteristics of hand drawn artwork.
The Live2D creation tools are available in two versions, supporting content creation using either polygons or vectors. A 3D engine is used to power the polygon based version, so it can achieve fast, fluid motion even on mobile devices.

Currently, Live2D is used mainly for dialog-type games with limited movement. But over the next year or two, Cybernoids aims for the tools to evolve to a point where the motions of the characters can be rendered through 360 degrees.

WHITE by GUMITIEN production

In the article of today I am particularly happy to present a unique amateur "Anime" makes me proud to be Italian.
In fact, the creator/author is Italian (like me ^^), alone and with much effort has created a super cute mini series of "Anime" titled "White".
Considering that its budget was equal to $0, we have a precious jewel.
The series consists of five episodes (the fifth episode has yet to come out), in short we have a very pretty girl who awakens in a mysterious situation where the only reference around her is an absolute and unlimited white place.
At a certain point we have the entry into the scene a boy who gradually tries to give his explanation of that mysterious place.
He explains that you can create all sorts of things with concentrating, but without exaggerating or you may lose control.
What will happen to discover it following the anime "WHITE", probably in the near future will be subtitled, for those who do not know Italian.

GUMITIEN production from today (with the permission of the author of "WHITE") will be accessible from the blog through a banner which will take you to the YouTube channel to stay always updated on his work and I hope in the future with other anime.

I wish a good job at GUMITIEN production, a big thanks for "WHITE" on my part to Angela Vianello.

Here you can see all four episodes of "WHITE" ... while waiting for the fifth chapter.

Tokitowa - Time & Eternity (PS3)

Tokitowa is a PlayStation 3 exclusive RPG developed by Imageepoch and published by Namco Bandai.
The game was developed in collaboration with the team that specializes in animation Satelight and is characterized by the style of Japanese anime that invades the tissue gaming is the graphic representation of the characters and the game world, and for the large amount of cutscenes in cartoon style, so as to be defined by the developer's first "HD animaton RPG" in the world.

The producer Kay Hirono and Kensuke Tsukanaka, the character design to work Vofan and music by Yuzo Koshiro for the Japanese public, are guarantees of quality.
The story is set in the kingdom of Kamuza, a nation formed by the marriage of the Knight King and the magical princess, complete with a walled city floating on water.
The protagonist of the story is really the prince in question, controlled by the player, who just married is faced with various events including apparently because he had not yet received their first kiss.
Costar is obviously the Princess Toki and its blue little dragon.

The main feature of Tokitowa is the fact that the graphics of the characters and their animations are entirely hand-drawn 2D and in high definition. There is no question of cel-shading but 2D sprites that build on scenarios in 3D.

Hasegawa Ma.K. Falke & WAVE 3Q Ma.K. Kröte

One of my many (too many) hobbies is modeling, are not good at building them, and generally I love to buy action figures of anime already assembled.
I love also the dioramas, I tried a few times to experiment in building them but I never produced anything exceptional.
Some time ago, I started looking for several tutorials on youtube such as those explaining how to make the effect of water in a diorama etc ...
Among the many movies that I found, I was impressed by these two that today enclose with this post.

The ability and talent to build something unique and at the end of the very best at original model, I was really impressed.
The protagonist of these two movies eventually creates something special, I think that experience will be worth much for a collector.
Look at the second movie ... you will be amazed by their skill.
Congratulations again, to the protagonist of two movie.

Bat-Man, The Joker and Poison Ivy (Fan Movies)

I have seen many Fan Movies the past few months, thanks to The fact is I really like.
The passion of the fans sometimes allows to recreate even with lack of financial resources, movies that sometimes disfigure the movie with a budget hundreds of times higher but with directors absolutely incapable of projecting the magic of comics to the big screen.

I will show you two Fan Movies that I found on youtube, dealing with BatMan.
Ok, ok ... BatMan has been treated more than well thanks to the genius of a director like Christopher Nolan, but the films that you will see are worth of being seen and appreciated understanding the limits of the two movies.

BATMAN CITY OF SCARS convince me in several ways, one of them is the same BatMan ... perfect.
The atmosphere, the costume and the environment itself make me go back in the 80's when I began to know the comics of the Dark Knight.

Perhaps the Joker in BATMAN CITY OF SCARS is the sore point of the Fan Movies itself, there is something about him that I do not like at all.
In contrast to the two criminals that Batman will face in the next Fan Movies, Poison Ivy especially, I really like.
Had convinced me to be honest also that of Uma Thurman, but this gives me satisfaction.

Yozora Mikazuki - Monster Hunter ver. (Action figure)

Saturday, August 18, we have already discussed of the series "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" and Sena Kashiwazaki.
Today let's talk about another character in the series, or to Mikazuki Yozora.

A cruel and selfish black-haired girl who says she understands and respects bullying but resents being called a bully herself, Yozora's difficult personality drives away anyone who might wish to make friends with her before she meets Kodaka.
She is physically abusive towards, and often argues with, Sena and manipulative towards Maria, who she cons into giving up an empty room for the use of the Neighbor's Club, and Yukimura, who she fools into working for the club as a crossdressing cosplay maid.
The only person she can't insult is Rika, as Rika takes whatever insult she gives her and deflects it back with a dirty joke that leaves her tired - to the point where she just does what Rika says (like crossdress for example) rather than argue.

I have found a beautiful "action figures anime" by Yozora Mikazuki Monster Hunter version.
I will buy as well as for the figures of Sena Kashiwazaki.

J-List details:
Haganai fans, check out this awesome figure of Yozora in a cool and sexy Monster Hunter costume, complete with weapons and more. You'll love the level of detail, her stylish pose, and cool expression.

Resident Evil.net is an interactive website used to collect and compare data taken from Resident Evil 6 gamers across the world.

The features of the website are largely the same as on Halo Waypoint, a Microsoft website and Xbox app tied to the Halo series of video games. Like Waypoint, residentevil.net will feature challenges that need to be undertaken to unlock rewards - an example for Resident Evil 6 would be "kill 10,000 zombies". When these tasks have been completed, rewards will be redeemed in the form of extra gameplay content, such as alternate costumes.

Unique to residentevil.net is the "Champion Belt" feature - the first person to complete the challenge will be named the "winner" and their profile will show the belt-reward as proof of their accomplishment.

Sly & Swarzy...returning to the maximum power

"The Expandable 2", "Bullet to the Head", "The Last Stand" and soon "The Tomb", Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are coming back strongly on the scene to my great joy.
I was born and grew up on their films, for me the icons, idols absolute.
Their return to full power can only make me much pleasure.
In the future we will talk about "The Tomb" which involves both actors, but today we focus on "Bullet to the Head" and "The Last Stand".

Bullet to the Head is an upcoming 2013 action film, directed by Walter Hill based upon Alexis Nolent's French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete.
In the film, a hitman (Sylvester Stallone) teams with a young NYPD detective (Sung Kang) in a high-stakes investigation that leads from dingy back alleys all the way to the power corridors of New Orleans.
The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.

The Last Stand is a 2013 film directed by Kim Ji-Woon.
The film shows Arnold Schwarzenegger on the big screen as a protagonist, after completing the experience as governor of California (in office from 2003 to 2011), and is the first film in English for the South Korean director.
The leader of a drug cartel out firing from the court where it is under process, he stole a car and flees at full speed toward the Mexican border.
Sheriff Ray Owens with inexperienced helpers must prevent the fugitive to cross the border.

Sena by Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai (Figure)

This anime is taken from the light novel of Yomi Hirasaka, produced by AIC and directed by Hisashi Saitō.

Who is Sena Kashiwazaki?
The wealthy blonde daughter of the school's headteacher, Sena shows a dislike of all things "ordinary." She is both attractive and academically successful, but her resulting arrogance leads her to be disliked by her female peers.
Their admiration eludes her, much as she desires it; she treats her male classmates only as servants to be used, although many of them would like to be her boyfriend.
Nonetheless, she holds Kodaka to a higher standard. Kodaka concludes that she is the weirdest member of the club, as she is able to warrant weird and disgusted looks not only from Yozora and Kobato, but also from Yukimura and Rika.

She enjoys playing video games, including dating sims and eroge, partially because they allow her to make female (if virtual) friends.
She is generally fascinated by the girls in these games and has also taken a liking to Kobato.
Yozora calls her "Meat" (due to her large breasts), an insulting nickname which she secretly likes because it was the first she had ever received. It also seems that she also developed some feelings for Kodaka after several events.
In Volume 7 of the Light Novel, it was revealed that Kodaka and Sena are fiancés betrothed by their father's which she fully accepts.
In Volume 8, Sena proposes to Kodaka, asking him to marry her. Sena also confesses to Kodaka that she loves him.

About the Sena Kashiwazaki Figure by J-list:
Everyone drop what you're doing -- the best figure from the hit anime and manga I Have Few Friends (aka Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, aka Haganai) is here. This is a 1:7 scale figure of Sena Kashiwazaki, the grumpy but oh-so-touchable rich girl who has a butterfly in her hair. The detail is like nothing we've seen, and everything about her is gorgeous done -- her hair, her face and eyes, the tartan check pattern on her skirt, and more.
